The KNVB has changed the times of two matches in the 28th round of the Eredivisie. The game between sc Heerenveen and Ajax on Sunday 4 April will be moved from 12.15 pm to 4.45 pm, so that Feyenoord – Fortuna Sittard will go from 4.45 pm to 12.15 pm.

“All Eredivisie clubs and the Eredivisie CV have made agreements with each other and in consultation with the KNVB in the context of the change agenda,” reports the KNVB. “Eredivisie matches can be moved if Dutch participants in the Champions League or Europa League indicate that they will be able to prepare better as a result. The KNVB facilitates this agreement.”

It is not exactly known why Ajax wants to take action later. The wish may have to do with internationals returning from international obligations in the run-up to the game against Heerenveen. That is the first game after the international match in March. The internationals now have a few extra hours of rest after their return to Amsterdam.
