Frank de Boer has announced the pre-selection of the Dutch national team for the coming international match period. The national coach selects Maarten Stekelenburg and Jeremiah St. Juste, among others. De Boer has included a total of 31 players in the preliminary selection. The the Dutch squad will play its first three games at the end of March as part of the World Cup qualification for the final tournament in 2022 in Qatar. The Netherlands will visit Turkey on 24 March. Six years ago, both countries met each other for the last time in the context of the European Championship qualification, when it became 1-1 in Amsterdam and the the Dutch lost 3-0 in Konya. The Netherlands will also play at home against Latvia on March 27 and will visit Gibraltar for the first time in history on March 30.
