Joshua Zirkzee and Tyrell Malacia are not part of the Manchester United squad that will board the plane to the United States. Malacia is still recovering from his knee injury, while Zirkzee is still enjoying his holiday.

Manchester United will fly to Los Angeles this afternoon to begin their training camp in preparation for the upcoming season. The Red Devils they will compete against Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool there.

Zirkzee was on holiday earlier this summer, in the US of all places, but that was interrupted when national coach Ronald Koeman included him in his European Championship selection. Zirkzee was recently presented to his new employer, but we will have to wait a while for his first minutes.

Malacia has been struggling with a serious knee injury for over a year. The former Feyenoord player is continuing his rehabilitation at the Carrington training complex. Malacia showed up on the training field again ten days ago after fourteen months of absence, but the pre-season tour so it comes just a little too early.

In addition to Malacia and Zirkzee, Altay Bayindir, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martínez, Facundo Pellistri and Luke Shaw will also not be boarding the plane due to their participation in the European Championship or Copa América.

Leny Yoro, recently signed from Lille OSC, is part of the group, as are Christian Eriksen, Tom Heaton, Rasmus Højlund and Scott McTominay, who returned to the training grounds in Manchester last week.
