Real Madrid wants to say goodbye to Isco in the winter transfer period, reports El Confidencial. Trainer Zinedine Zidane held back the departure of the 28-year-old attacking midfielder for a long time, but has now given his permission to president Florentino Pérez to sell Isco, it sounds.

Isco is in his eighth season for Real Madrid. For a long time, the Spaniard belonged to the regular core of key players. For example, he played in all four Champions League finals won (of which twice as a basic player), but since this calendar year he has been on the bench more often than he would like. Of the seven league games played, Isco was three times in the starting line-up and was allowed to briefly fill in three times in the absolute final phase. In the Champions League, Zidane did not even allow the 38-time international to play a single minute in four matches.

This season, Isco does not make an overly trained impression, which also hurts Zidane. The French coach has always been a big fan of the offensive midfielder, who is praised by him for his final pass, but wants to end the collaboration in January. Isco has a contract until mid-2022 and a winter transfer could therefore yield Real Madrid a significant amount. Money that would come in handy given the liquidity problems facing the club, now that substantial investments are being made in the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu. Also has the Royal struggles to meet all Financial Fair Play conditions.

Earlier, the Daily Mail all that Everton is seriously interested in acquiring Isco. Manager Carlo Ancelotti knows the Spaniard from his time as coach of Real Madrid, and last summer also took over James Rodríguez from the Spanish superpower. Everton would have twenty million euros for Isco. Real Madrid hopes according to El Confidencial on more candidates. For example, Arsenal has already shown interest in Isco the Gunners with Dani Cabellos hired from Real Madrid already a similar player in the ranks.
