Barcelona’s line-up for the LaLiga match against Real Mallorca has been announced. In the Catalans there is a surprising starting place for Memphis Depay. The Dutchman is preferred by Xavi on the right flank over Ousmane Dembélé. Frenkie de Jong also starts in the starting eleven, while Luuk de Jong has to do it as expected with a possible role as pinchhitter. The kick-off in the Camp Nou is at 9 pm.

The wash in Barça’s midfield was very thin prior to the game. Pedri will miss the rest of the season due to injuries, while Nico González will most likely not be in action during the last competition matches. The midfield of los Azulgrana is formed against Mallorca by Frenkie de Jong, Sergio Busquets and Gavi. The only other midfielder Xavi can still have is Riqui Puig.

In defence, Gerard Pique returns to the starting eleven. His starting place is at the expense of Eric García. Pique forms the defense in the home game along with Jordi Alba, Ronald Araújo and Dani Alves. Depay forms a vanguard against Mallarco along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres. A boost for Xavi is the return of Ansu Fati. The young attacker last saw action on January 20 with a hamstring injury and could potentially make his comeback against Mallorca.

Line-up Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Alves, Pique, Araújo, Alba; Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi; Depay, Aubameyang, Ferran
