The top match between FC Volendam and FC Emmen, the two leaders in the Kitchen Champion Division, ended undecided on Friday evening. Thanks to a beautiful free kick by Daryl van Mieghem and a goal by competition top scorer Robert Mühren, Volendam took a double lead, which Emmen made up for after the break: 2-2. Number three De Graafschap could not take advantage of this and surprisingly lost to FC Den Bosch, while Naci Ünüvar showed himself again at Jong Ajax. The hanging left winger already made his eighth goal of the season against VVV-Venlo (1-3 win).

FC Volendam – FC Emmen 2-2
The best goal of the evening came after ten minutes of play in the name of Daryl van Mieghem, who placed a free kick of 25 meters into the top corner: 1-0. Fifteen minutes later, Robert Mühren was launched by Boy Deul, after which the FC Volendam striker simply placed the ball past goalkeeper Michael Brouwer: 2-0. Emmen did something back after more than half an hour of play through Jeredy Hilterman, who reacted alertly by extending a blocked shot by Jasin-Amin Assehnoun: 2-1.

Emmen went in search of the equalizer after the break and saw a striking shot by Reda Kharchouch disallowed for alleged offside. In the 81st minute, the Drenthe were awarded a penalty when Zakaria El Azzouzi was knocked out. Hilterman signed from eleven meters for his second of the match: 2-2.

VVV-Venlo – Ajax Reserves 1-3
Young Ajax entered a strong formation on paper, including Devyne Rensch, Kenneth Taylor and Danilo. Taylor was able to continue in the fourth minute after a nice pass from Victor Jensen, after which the midfielder finished it calmly: 0-1. The team from Amsterdam was then lord and master, but were unable to immediately convert that into more goals, partly because of a rejected scorer from Danilo. The Jong Ajax striker also hit the bar later in the first half.

Against the odds, VVV tied the score shortly after the break thanks to Mitchel van Rooijen, who managed to extend the ball from close range: 1-1. Young Ajax was then taken by the hand by Ünüvar, who was allowed to accept the ball in the penalty area and who poked nicely into the intersection: 2-1. Moments later, Youri Regeer was knocked down by Tobias Pachonik, after which Jong Ajax received a penalty. That was completed by Danilo: 1-3. Rensch took yellow twice in a row in the final phase in a stupid way, in the last one by kicking a ball out of frustration.

FC Den Bosch – De Graafschap 2-1
After Elmo Lieftink had overshot from close range, De Graafschap took the lead in the opening phase. Jesse Schuurman brought the ball low in front of the goal, after which Jeffry Fortes gave the last tap: 0-1. Roy Kuijpers soon brought Den Bosch back. The striker was launched by a long ball from Teun van Grunsven, initially mowed over the ball, but was then able to finish it from close by: 1-1. Jasper van Heertum missed a good header opportunity on behalf of De Graafschap after the break, after which Den Bosch took the lead on the other side. That was thanks to Soufyan Ahannach, who dribbled over the left into the penalty area and selected the far corner with a slider: 2-1.

Helmond Sport – Roda JC Kerkrade 0-3
From the first whistle, Roda JC dominated the match in Helmond. After Dylan Vente and Patrick Pflücke were unfortunate in the finish, Richard Jensen successfully pulled the trigger. After a corner and a transfer from Vente, the ball came at the feet of the Finn, who hit from within the five-meter area: 0-1. After half an hour of play, the score was doubled. Once again there was an important role for Vente, who ensured with a through pass that Xian Emmers was able to finish: 0-2. In the second half, the Limburgers continued where they left off. Vente again acted as principal and this time brought in Bryan Limbombe. The right winger outsmarted goalkeeper Mike Havekotte in a cool way and made it 0-3.

Young FC Utrecht – FC Eindhoven 0-6
An unleashed FC Eindhoven already enjoyed a 0-4 lead halfway through the Utrecht U23 team, which dropped big stitches at corner kicks. The most beautiful goal before half-time was scored by Brian De Keersmaecker, who placed the shot from about thirty meters away and found the top left corner with a hard bang. With that, he signed for the 0-3, after Eindhoven had already forced two goals from corner kicks. The opening goal was scored by Mawouna Amevor, while Jort van der Sande doubled the score. The fourth goal also came from a corner, which was again kicked by Joey Sleegers. Again it was Van der Sande who gave the last push: 0-4. Halfway through the second half, the lead was further extended. Jasper Dalhaus, who had just come in, took care of the 0-5 on a pass from De Keersmaecker. That was not yet the final score, because it was determined by Valentino Vermeulen: 0-6.

Young AZ – MVV Maastricht 0-1
Although Jong AZ had most of the ball, the greatest opportunities in the opening phase were recorded by MVV. Orhan Dzepar and Sven Blummel, among others, had good scoring opportunities, but both attackers lacked sharpness in the completion. On the stroke of half-time, the Alkmaar promises came close to the opening goal. Yusuf Barasi seemed to give the home team the lead with a well-watched marker, but Romain Matthys was barely able to save. The ban was finally broken halfway through the second half. After a nice pass from Matteo Waem, Mitchy Ntelo came face to face with goalkeeper Beau Reus, who had no answer to the cold-blooded effort of the striker: 0-1. The score on the scoreboard remained unchanged for the remainder of the game.

FC Dordrecht – NAC Breda 2-1
The first danger came from FC Dordrecht, which became threatening when a long throw-in reached José Pascu. The midfielder could not surprise Nick Olij with his header. On the other side, Boris van Schuppen fired the ball from the edge of the penalty area from the bounce into the crossbar. Then NAC attacker Kaj de Rooij missed one-on-one with goalkeeper Liam Bossin.

Goals were only scored after the break. The first of these fell thanks to Nikolas Agrafiotis, who headed in a cross from Jacky Donkor: 1-0. NAC came back thanks to a blunder by Bossin, who let a shot by Yassine Azzagari slip out of his hands: 1-1. Dordrecht still took the victory in the final phase. A cross fell into NAC’s five meters, after which the ball came via-via to goldcrest Agrafiotis: 2-1. The last of the Kitchen Champion Division was able to credit his second victory of the season.

Young PSV – TOP Oss 2-2
Young PSV created the most danger in the opening phase of the match. Twice Dante Sealy had the opening goal on his shoe, but both times goalkeeper Norbert Alblas was in the way. TOP Oss was more efficient and opened the score in the 25th minute. A corner kick from the right was unfortunately worked into his own goal by Jenson Seelt: 0-1. The visitors then became stronger, but it was Jong PSV that scored the next goal in the game. Ten minutes after the break Mathijs Tielemans equalized with a shot from outside the box. The Eindhoven team continued the upward trend and found the lead more than fifteen minutes before the end via Johan Bakayoko. However, on the stroke of the final whistle, TOP Oss came alongside. It was Rick Stuy van den Herik who put the 2-2 final score on the scoreboard from close by.
