Noah Ohio will no longer play for Vitesse. according to The Gelderlander the lease with the eighteen-year-old attacker was terminated ‘in consultation’. Ohio returns to RB Leipzig, the club that sent him to Arnhem in January. Vitesse has yet to officially confirm the break with the young striker on the website.
Vitesse agreed with Leipzig during the winter break that the Ohio rental period would last a year and a half, but after a few months the rental deal is already a thing of the past. The former youth international of the Netherlands only played 26 minutes with the losing cup finalist, spread over 4 substitutes. Ohio did not score goals or assists in the appearances. Trainer Thomas Letsch preferred Lois Openda, Armando Broja and Oussama Darfalou up front, which meant he was sentenced to a reserve role.
