Riechedly Bazoer has been disciplinary suspended at Vitesse, reports the Gelderlander Sunday afternoon. The defender is said to have misbehaved during training on Friday and is therefore not part of the players group for the game with AZ. He is basically replaced by Enzo Cornelisse.

Bazoer would have kicked on the training with teammate Daan Huisman and then went into battle verbally with trainer Thomas Letsch and captain Remko Pasveer. Letsch subsequently suspended Bazoer for the game with AZ. The basic force, an important player in Letsch’s team, is thus missing its last chance to play in the spotlight with national coach Frank de Boer, who will announce the pre-selection of the Dutch on Sunday.

Bazoer is not causing disciplinary problems for the first time in his career. For example, the defender cum midfielder was put out of the selection at FC Porto by trainer Sergio Conceiçao due to a lack of discipline. At Vitesse, the playmaker has repeatedly come into conflict with former trainer Leonid Slutsky in the past and he came to blows with Jay-Roy Grot during training.
