The ways of Julian von Moos and Vitesse separate immediately. The Arnhem team announces through the official channels that the lease with FC Basel has been terminated, as a result of which the twenty-year-old wing attacker immediately returns to Switzerland. Von Moos has been playing with Vitesse since last summer, which had stipulated an option to buy on him.

However, the rental period of Von Moos at Vitesse was not a resounding success. The Swiss youth international failed to secure a starting place in the team of trainer Thomas Letsch. In total, Von Moos came to seven official games, none of which as a starting player and in which he delivered one assist. Vitesse also said goodbye to Oussama Darfalou last week, who left for PEC Zwolle.

Von Moos is now going back to work at FC Basel, where his contract will continue until mid-2023. He played in the youth academy of FC St. Gallen and Grasshopper Club Zurich, before FC Basel picked him up in 2018 for 1.3 million euros. . Von Moos has so far played 41 matches in the main squad of FC Basel, scoring 4 times. At Vitesse he was working on his second rental period, because FC Basel previously stored him at FC Wil.
