AS Roma and Napoli have reached an agreement on Arkadiusz Milik. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, working for among others the Guardian and Sky Italiareports that a bid of 25 million euros has been accepted by Napoli and that it is now up to the Polish striker. If he agrees to move to the Italian capital, Edin Dzeko will in turn be sold by AS Roma to Juventus.

Milik still has a contract in Naples until mid-2021 and is not planning to extend it for the time being, so Napoli wants to wear it out this summer. At an earlier stage, the 26-year-old striker was already linked to a transfer to Juventus, but according to Romano, AS Roma now has the best papers to take him over. An agreement on a transfer fee of 25 million euros is currently on the table, while Milik can sign a five-year contract with an annual salary of 4.5 million euros.

For the time being, however, Milik has not yet accepted this offer from AS Roma and that has everything to do with Juventus. The striker initially refused to extend his contract with Napoli to make the switch to Turin. La Vecchia Signora However, with Edin Dzeko has another name at the top of the wish list in the search for a new striker. AS Roma is prepared to let the 34-year-old Bosnian striker leave for Juventus as soon as Milik can be taken over from Napoli. I Partenopei seem to have to settle for a loss in any case, since 32 million euros were transferred to Ajax four years ago.

This domino effect may also affect Luis Suárez. The Uruguayan striker has been allowed to leave Barcelona and has recently been frequently linked to Juventus, which with Dzeko in this case is already going to bring in a coveted reinforcement for the striker position. Italian media do not rule out that Suárez will make the transition to Turin after all, but it is emphasized that the operation will not be simpler and that the transfer window may be later.
