José Mourinho was fired for the fifth time in his career on Monday. Despite an ongoing contract until 2023, Tottenham Hotspur decided to prematurely end the cooperation with the Portuguese manager. From a financial point of view, not a very hard blow for Mourinho, who is said to be able to count on a ‘bad money’ of over twenty million euros. Over the years, the total amount of the various lump sum payments has risen to almost one hundred million euros, according to reports in the English media.

Mourinho had some very successful years at Chelsea, but he was nevertheless fired in 2007 after a series of disappointing results.
