On Tuesday, Van Duijn already came up with the scoop that Ramaj has to seriously fear for his starting spot at Ajax. Remko Pasveer seems to have an advantage over the German as first keeper under new coach Francesco Farioli.

For that reason, an outgoing transfer of Ramaj is not unthinkable. ESPN came after the news of VI namely with the news that the young goalie wants to leave Ajax immediately. The television channel even spoke of chaos in the Amsterdam goalkeeper guild, because Gerónimo Rulli also wants to leave.

Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who is part of Gianluca Di Marzio's reporting team at the Italian branch of Sky Sportreported on X on Tuesday that clubs from LaLiga and the Premier League are monitoring the situation surrounding Ramaj. Chelsea is said to have already inquired in Amsterdam about the possibilities of a summer transfer for the goalkeeper.

A day later, Van Duijn gives an update on the current situation. “I dare say that he will leave somewhere in the coming weeks. That will indeed be a club from the Premier League or a Spanish club, but which one I really don't know.”

Van Duijn does mention a new club that would follow Ramaj. “I know that he has been closely watched by Manchester City and Chelsea, that they have their sights set on him. But there will be several clubs that find him interesting.” At Manchester City, Ederson seems to be leaving for Saudi Arabia this summer.

Ramaj is contracted to the Johan Cruijff ArenA until mid-2028. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at 18 million euros. Last summer, then technical director Sven Mislintat took over the young goalie from Eintracht Frankfurt for around 5 million euros.

Ramaj had a difficult start at Ajax, but kept himself in the starting line-up during the past season. In his first 31 matches under the bar at Ajax, the goalie only managed to keep a clean sheet 5 times. In total, Ramaj had to concede 51 goals.
