Atlético Madrid has made an offer of around twenty million euros for Dávid Hancko. Branislav Jašurek, his agent, confirmed this in conversation with Slovakia RTVS. According to Jašurek, Atlético is currently also the club that has the greatest chance of taking over the defender from Feyenoord this summer.

After an excellent season, it increasingly looks like Hancko has played his last game for Feyenoord. He has already been linked to several top clubs in recent weeks, including Liverpool and Atlético.

“Of all the clubs interested in Dávid Hancko, Atlético Madrid is our number one priority,” Jašurek now reveals. RTVS. “The other offers are only at the conversation level. There is nothing else going on at the moment, and David is looking forward to the opportunity to play under Diego Simeone.”

Hancko has according to Transfer market a value of 35 million euros, while Feyenoord would hope to receive around 40 million for the Slovakian man.

However, the offer that Atlético has made is a lot lower: 20 million euros. “He doesn't have a limited lump sum, which makes it a lot easier. But an amount of forty to fifty million euros is too much,” said Jašurek.

Hancko is currently active with Slovakia at the European Championships in Germany. Belgium won the first match 0-1, but lost 1-2 to Ukraine on Friday.

In that match, Hancko also dropped out with a groin injury. However, according to Slovak media, the injury is not too bad, so there is still hope that he can participate in the last group match, against Romania on Wednesday.
