On Monday afternoon, PSV, Feyenoord and Vitesse will disappear in the tubes for the draw for the play-offs of the Champions League and the Conference League respectively. The three Dutch clubs first have to survive the third preliminary round, but the draw for the last hurdle towards the group stage is already made in advance. AZ, which is entering the play-offs of the Europa League, will also hear its possible opponent on Monday.

PSV

PSV settled in the second preliminary round of the Champions League with Galatasaray and will play in the third preliminary round against FC Midtjylland, whose first game is in Eindhoven on Tuesday. The Alkmaarders have a protected status in the draw with Fenerbahçe, Zorya Luhansk, Antwerp FC, Sturm Graz and Randers FC. AZ, which will have an opponent from pot 3 or 4, will hope to outrun Galatasaray and Celtic. The last two clubs flowed from the preliminary round of the Champions League, just like Rapid Wien.

Feyenoord barely dealt with FC Drita in the second preliminary round of the Conference League and is now preparing for the double meeting of FC Luzern. The team from Rotterdam will be told on Monday which possible opponent is waiting in the play-offs of the tournament. Despite its seeded status, Feyenoord can encounter clubs such as 1. FC Union Berlin and Rubin Kazan at the last hurdle towards the group stage.

Vitesse will start its European season on Thursday with the first game in the third preliminary round of the Conference League against Dundalk. The Arnhem team has no seeded status for the possible play-off round and on paper they can encounter difficult opponents such as Anderlecht and Stade Rennes. LASK, which won against PSV and AZ last season, is also among the options.
