André Ooijer left in 2010 at the age of 35 through the back door of his great love PSV. Despite this, the defender played the game of his life two months later during the quarterfinals of the World Cup in South Africa against Brazil (2-1 win). The native of Amsterdam went through Ajax’s youth academy, but made his breakthrough at PSV. Ooijer had many successes in Eindhoven, including winning the national championship five times. After an adventure in the Premier League, the defender returned to PSV at the age of 34. However, that did not work out as expected. This is the story of a career full of highs and lows.
