The Dutch Juniors are linked to Georgia, Belgium and Portugal in the group stage of the European Under-21 Championship in 2023. The team of national coach Erwin van de Looi qualified fairly easily with 26 points from ten matches for the final tournament, which will be organized next summer in Romania and Georgia.

The European Championship will be played between June 21 and July 8, where the the Dutch squad will play all matches in the group stage in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
