Latest update:

Michel Sadílek expects to be in his last weeks as a player for FC Twente, he said in a podcast in his home country of the Czech Republic. The midfielder says he is about to be sold.

Sadílek's words are striking, as the Czech was one of the absolute pillars in Joseph Oosting's team this season, with 38 games in all competitions.

The reason that Twente is thinking about a sale could be that Sadílek still has a contract for one year. This means that the Champions League participant can now earn something from him.

“A lot is happening around me,” Sadílek says in the Kavarna Podcast. “This would be my last season at Twente, but the club has included the option in the contract.”

“After the European Championship, the club wants to sell me and I think that is logical. I have also indicated that I want to take a step.” Sadílek does impose an important condition on his next step.

“I told the club that the next step must be a logical one for my career,” he continued. “If nothing comes along that I have a good feeling about, then I don't want to leave. Then I want to extend, because I don't want to leave FC Twente on a transfer.”

“The club must also keep some money with me. They took me over from PSV and I want to repay the club for that.” Germany, Italy and Spain are the defensive midfielder's favorite destinations.

“Italy and Spain are also wonderful for life outside football, especially for family. In Germany I am close to home, so I can see family and friends more often. Every country has advantages and disadvantages, but if a good club comes If you have a good plan, I will certainly not reject it.”

Sadílek came over on loan from FC Twente three years ago, after which the Tukkers took him over permanently two years ago for around one and a half million euros. The counter now stands at 91 matches, in which he scored 4 times and was a scorer 8 times.
