The suspended Alex Kroes is 'normal' present at the Eredivisie match between Ajax and Go Ahead Eagles. The general manager of Ajax was suspended on Tuesday due to possible insider trading.

The F-side also made itself heard during the match. The fanatical supporters of Ajax are angry because of the administrative unrest within the club.

“Fuck off Mosman,” is the sound from the fanatical supporters' side, who are demanding the departure of Supervisory Board member Annette Mosman. The latter is held partly responsible for the administrative chaos.

The decision to suspend Kroes was taken on Tuesday morning after Ajax's Supervisory Board learned that the newly appointed director had purchased more than 17,000 shares in Ajax a week before the publication of his intended appointment on August 2, 2023.

The Supervisory Board has obtained external legal advice, which shows that it is very likely that he has committed insider trading. Insider trading is a criminal offence. Kroes has already indicated that he will challenge the suspension.
