Napoli made no mistake in Serie A on Saturday afternoon. When visiting Salernitana, coach Rudi Garcia’s team won 0-2. The goals were scored by Giacomo Raspadori and Eljif Elmas. With the victory, Napoli temporarily climbs to fourth place in Serie A, with 21 points after 11 matches. Salernitana is last, with only four points.

Particularities:
After just fifteen minutes, Napoli took the lead. Stanislav Lobotka found Raspadori in the penalty area, and the striker took a hard shot into the long corner: 0-1. The Salernitana players protested because of possible offside, but that turned out not to be the case. Partly thanks to goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, who saved attempts by Matteo Politano and again Raspadori, Napoli did not go into halftime with a larger lead.

Immediately at the start of the second half, Raspadori and Politano were again dangerous. The former saw his effort stopped by Ochoa, while Politano hit the post. The 0-2 hung in the air, and eventually came ten minutes before the end: Elmas went in and took an effective shot in the far corner.
