Ajax hopes to take back the lead from PSV this afternoon. The team from Amsterdam will then have to win on a visit to FC Twente, this afternoon from 12.15 pm. In the vanguard, Steven Berghuis keeps his competitor Antony out of the starting line. On the side of Twente, Ricky van Wolfswinkel is missing, who is not fit in time.

Ajax started the new Eredivisie season last weekend with a convincing 5-0 victory over NEC. Due to the large result, the team of trainer Erik ten Hag immediately grabbed the lead. Twente got off to a less energetic start to the new year. On a visit to Fortuna Sittard, Ron Jans’ team lost 2-1.

Ten Hag had to make a choice between Berghuis and Antony for the first time. The latter is again a full member of the selection after his participation in the Olympic Games with Brazil and can therefore start, reported The Telegraph Friday evening. Since the start of the week, the 21-year-old wing striker has been back in full training and is part of the match squad for this afternoon’s game. Ten Hag prefers Berghuis in Enschede.
