Storm Eunice has caused considerable damage to ADO The Hague. Images circulating on the internet show how part of the Cars Jeans Stadium has come loose. Panels on the roof of the stadium have separated from the rest and are blowing on the side of the stadium. It is not yet clear how much damage there is exactly. The storm has not yet abated.
Broadcasting West reports that there is a large hole in the roof of the stadium. Pieces of the roof are flying through the air and photos show how the posts ended up on an adjacent road surface. The fire brigade is on its way to assist.
More soon.
