David Neres is in the serious interest of Shakhtar Donetsk, reports the Brazilian edition of Goal. According to the football medium, the Ukrainian top club has made an offer of a total of fifteen million euros for the 24-year-old attacker of Ajax. In addition, the Amsterdammers are offered a resale percentage.

The amount of fifteen million euros consists, according to Goal of two parts: a fixed and a variable component, but it is unclear exactly how the distribution is. In any case, the variables depend on certain objectives. The talks between Ajax and Shakhtar have reportedly been going on for several weeks and there is said to be a development in the negotiations.

It is known that Shakhtar is charmed by Brazilian footballers, who were frequently brought to Ukraine in the past. In any case, Neres will not feel like a stranger in Donetsk, because the club currently has thirteen compatriots under contract with him. Two of them will leave on January 1, 2022, because the expiring contracts of Dentinho and Marlos will not be extended. That’s also why Shakhtar can use new offensive blood.

Ajax already emphatically tried to get rid of Neres last summer. As part of the transfer policy, the time was ripe in the eyes of the team from Amsterdam to sell the right attacker, but the right offer was not put on the table. Neres played 22 times in the shirt of Ajax this season, of which 16 times as a substitute. In it, the winger produced four goals and two assists.
