Kenneth Perez finds it incomprehensible that Denzel Dumfries currently has to train separately at PSV. “You want to be as strong as PSV as possible, don’t you? It’s one of your best players. The Champions League is important to financially connect with Ajax. I assume that the chance of reaching the Champions League with Dumfries is greater than without Dumfries,” emphasizes Perez. PSV first has to deal with FC Midtjylland in the third preliminary round, after which Benfica or Spartak Moscow may form the last hurdle towards the group stage of the Champions League.
