Internally at Real Madrid, the idea is growing that Sergio Ramos is in his last months as a contract player, according to a radio broadcast of Cadena SER. The 35-year-old defender has had the opportunity to join his expiring commitment multiple times the Royal to extend, but each time the club management got zero on the request. It is feared that Ramos has received a better offer at another club and therefore wants to leave Real behind.

The Spanish sports journalist Jesús Gallego reports in the radio program Hora 25 Deportes that the board of Real has been working on the contract extension of Ramos for almost six months, which, however, seems to be committed to an adventure elsewhere in the autumn of his career. The mandekker has been mentioned several times at Paris Saint-Germain. Despite the situation surrounding the club’s figurehead, however, there is no despair. In the absence of Ramos and Raphaël Varane profile Éder Militão and Nacho are at the heart of the defense and the latter defender may even look forward to a new offer, it sounds. His current contract will run until 2022.

In addition to a muscle injury, Ramos, who seems to be leaving, was recently confronted with the corona virus. He last came into action on behalf of Real in the eighth finals of the Champions League against Atalanta. He then added a total of fifty minutes on behalf of the national team of Spain in the World Cup qualifying matches against Greece (1-1) and Kosovo (3-1 win). He was a basic player against Greece, but he was taken to the side in the break by national coach Luis Enrique. Against Georgia (1-2 win), the defender was on the reserve bench for ninety minutes, while he was given four minutes against Kosovo. On Instagram, Ramos himself explained that he trained on the field after the game with Kosovo and got problems with his calf during that practice session.

At the beginning of March, the message about Ramos came out that he wants to extend his stay at Real by at least one more season. OK Diario reported that the restored relationship with President Florentino Pérez is the main reason for this. More than a month and a half later, the situation seems to be different again at the superpower from Madrid. Meanwhile, David Alaba still appears to be a prime candidate to succeed Ramos at Real. A short time ago, it was reported in the Spanish media that both parties had reached an agreement, although the final confirmation has not been confirmed for the time being. Alaba is planning to leave Bayern Munich with a transfer-free status this summer.
