Sergio Ramos agrees with Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract, reports RMC Sports Thursday afternoon. His brother and advocate René will be in Paris on Thursday to complete the switch. Ramos comes over from Real Madrid on a free transfer. He will be medically examined within a few days, confirms journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier in the day reported Le Parisien that there was still disagreement during the negotiations. Reportedly, PSG only wanted to offer a one-year contract, with the option of an additional year. Ramos himself was hoping for a two-year contract at the Parc des Princes and seems to be getting his way. Salary was also discussed. He hoped not to give up too much compared to his salary of 15 million euros net at Real Madrid. It is unclear what amount both parties have reached.

according to RMC Ramos has turned down two offers from the Premier League. At one club from England he could earn more than in Paris, but the choice falls on PSG. From Spain, Italy and England, the defender was also linked to Manchester City, Manchester United, Sevilla, AC Milan and AS Roma in the past week. Ramos has been training individually in recent weeks, in order to start the new season as fit as possible. He missed the European Championship with Spain after a season full of physical setbacks. The 180-time international of Spain Georginio Wijnaldum will be PSG’s second summer signing; Gianluigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi also seem to be on their way to the dethroned champion of France.

Ramos won everything there was to win in 16 years with Real Madrid: five league titles, four times the Spanish Super Cup, two times the Copa del Rey, three times the European Super Cup, four times the Champions League and four times the World Cup for club teams. The defender, who has captained . since 2015/16 los Merengues played a total of 671 matches in all competitions for Real Madrid. In it he was good for no less than 101 goals. He was also responsible for 39 other hits.
