Juventus managed to book an easy 3-0 win over Bologna on Sunday evening. Before halftime it was ex-Groninger Filip Kostic who managed to break the spell, after which Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik managed to extend the lead in the second company. As a result, Massimiliano Allegri’s team managed to take three much-needed points in the Serie A.
The pressure on Juventus was high before the start of the game, with only two wins in the first nine games of the season. Three duels were lost, while La Vecchia Signora already drawn four times. Allegri started against Bologna with Milik and Vlahovic as strikers. With the away team, Jerdy Schouten was allowed to start as a playmaker, while Joshua Zirkzee and Denzo Kasius had to make do with a role as substitute.

After 24 minutes, Kostic opened the scoring. After Bologna’s stupid loss of ball in midfield, Vlahovic managed to reach his compatriot. The Serbian left foot then made a nice shot from a difficult angle. After an hour of play, it was Vlahovic himself who was allowed to double the score: a perfect pass from Weston McKennie was coolly headed past keeper Lukasz Skorupski: 2-0.
After the second Turin goal, Bologna gave up hope. This allowed Milik to sign for the best goal of the evening. The former striker of Ajax completed the ball against the ropes at the edge of sixteen. With this 3-0 win, Juve is in seventh place in Serie A after eight games. The gap with leader Napoli is still no less than seven points.
