Roger Schmidt has announced PSV’s line-up for the return in the Conference League against FC Copenhagen. After last week’s 4-4 draw, the people of Eindhoven benefit from a result to secure a place in the quarterfinals. Trainer Roger Schmidt is making one change compared to the away match against FC Utrecht. Olivier Boscagli returns to the heart of the defence, sending Armando Obispo to the bench. Kick-off is at 6:45 PM.

PSV had to do without Boscagli in the first leg, who was struggling with a cold and also did not appear at the kick-off in the away game against Utrecht. Against Copenhagen, he is back from the first whistle. The Frenchman’s starting spot is at the expense of Obispo. Schmidt has an almost fit selection and has to do it alone without the long-term injured André Ramalho, Ryan Thomas and Phillipp Mwene. Eighteen-year-old Jenson Seelt has also traveled to the Danish capital.

Schmidt emphasized during the press conference on Wednesday that PSV will not use a completely different playing style than usual. “We are not Atlético Madrid or any other team. We are PSV and do it our way, with an active way of playing and where we dare to defend far from our goal. The chance of success is therefore greatest,” said the German . “It doesn’t make much sense to bring back games from the past. I think we were very unhappy in that game (Real Sociedad, ed.) and also had opportunities to score the first goal ourselves.”
