SC Cambuur suffered a somewhat surprising defeat on Friday night. After two wins in the first two games of the Kitchen Champion Division and a goal difference of 9-1, the team of coach Henk de Jong was the favorite in the home game with Go Ahead Eagles, but the visitors still won the field entered: 0 -2. Young PSV have simultaneously recovered from the embarrassing 1-6 defeat against Excelsior, while NEC have the first points of the new season thanks to a win over Ajax.

Go Ahead Eagles 0-2 – SC Cambuur
A practiced free kick in the seventh minute drove Cambuur almost the entire game. Erkan Eyibil conceded with a free kick and left three players alone in front of Sonny Stevens. Sam Beukema lost to Jeroen Veldmate, who shot in charge: 0-1. Go Ahead keeps the queues tight and watches the counter, but Cambuur continues with the 1-1. Jay Gorter was attentive to efforts by Issa Kallon and Mees Hoedemakers, and a ball from Robert Maulun came just off the post. At half-time, Robert Mühren headed the ball into Gorter’s hands.

The visitors from Deventer started a dream in the second half. Bradly van Hoeven was played tight by Jeroen Veldmate, outsmarted Jasper ter Heide and hit the ball in the far corner: 0-2. It then became a little more unfriendly within the lines, with four yellow cards in just five minutes, but the scoreboard in Leeuwarden no longer moved. GA Eagles have four points from two games and play within a week against Young Ajax; SC Cambuur is waiting a day later with TOP Oss for a match.

Jong AZ – Jong PSV 1-4
After three minutes of play, the Eindhoven reserves were already behind. Peter Uneken’s team defended very poorly, after which Mohamed Taabouni was able to pass 1-0 on a pass from Des Kunst. It was apparently also the halftime score, but the ball hit the spot just before halftime. A tackle from Fons Gemmel was not on the ball and Shurandy Sambo’s attacking action resulted in a penalty kick. Richard Ledezma did not fail: 1-1.

Young PSV started the first half disastrously, but shortly after the break Ismael Saibari made it 1-2 with his first goal for the Eindhoven team. The striker, taken over from KRC Genk, also scored after 67 minutes and 77 minutes of play for the third and fourth goal of the Eindhoven team: 1-3 and 1-4. Young PSV therefore look ready for Tuesday’s clash with Young Ajax, who did not collect a point after two games.

NEC Young Ajax 2-1
Coach Rogier Meijer’s team needed nineteen minutes to take the lead. Rens van Eijden pushed through from the ground to a corner from Jordy Bruijn: 1-0. NEC had several opportunities in the first half to go with a bigger lead at halftime, but efforts from Ayman Sellouf did not come exactly and Dominik Kotarski also showed himself. The Young Ajax goalkeeper kept Ole Romeny, Sellouf and Elayis Tavsan standing. On the other hand, Norbert Alblas saved well on a bet from Kenneth Taylor.

According to Hans Kraay junior, this amazing performance of Naci Ünüvar is ‘completely in the spirit of Appie Nouri’ ??

In the second half, NEC and Young Ajax kept each other in balance for a long time. Kotarski saved well on a hard free kick from Bruijn and Alblas had an answer on a shot from Brian Brobbey. Ten minutes before the end, the equalizer fell. Everyone at NEC thought it was offside, but Giovanni pushed the ball in. 1-1. The joy at Young Ajax was short-lived. Two minutes later, after a duel with Youri Regeer, Bruijn went to the ground and took the awarded penalty himself: 2-1. NEC will play an away match against FC Volendam next Tuesday.
