Juventus is still not out with Sami Khedira about a termination of his contract. The superpower from Turin wants to immediately remove the German midfielder from the payroll, but the parties have not yet come to a decision on a financial settlement. Meanwhile, two clubs are closely monitoring the situation surrounding 33-year-old Khedira: Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray.

Khedira still has a contract with Juventus until mid-2021, but the club would prefer to break now. The veteran does not appear in the plans of new trainer Andrea Pirlo and with a weekly salary of 140,000 euros, puts unnecessarily heavy on the budget of la Vecchia Signora. Juventus would like to terminate Khedira’s contract, but the German wants to receive a full annual salary, while the club does not want to go further than half for the time being, Sky Italia.

It is expected in Italy that the parties will eventually find a middle ground, which is likely to lead to a departure of Khedira soon. The male putter was picked up five years ago at Real Madrid on a free transfer and became Italian champion five times with Juventus. Partly due to injuries, he came in five seasons in all competitions to ‘only’ 145 games for the formation from Turin. He was good for 21 goals and 13 assists.

Khedira even had to undergo heart surgery last year, but is nevertheless still good in the market. Sky Deutschland is able to report on Monday evening that PSG will see the arrival of the 77-time international from Germany, who became world champion in 2014 with die Mannschaft, while Sky Italia assures Galatasaray too will strike once Khedira obtains transfer-free status. At PSG, Khedira could be reunited with Thomas Tuchel: the current head coach of the French was the assistant coach of VfB Stuttgart Under-19, then the team of Khedira, in the 2004/05 season.
