Ismael Saibari can suddenly train with A-selection Morocco
Ismael Saibari is allowed to train with the A-selection of Morocco from the new national coach Walid Regragui. The 21-year-old PSV attacker was initially called up for Morocco Under 23, but was suddenly moved to the first team by Regragui on Tuesday evening. Twenty-year-old Benjamin Bouchouari from Saint-Étienne and eighteen-year-old Bilal El Khannouss from KRC Genk are also allowed to convince the national coach during training.

Despite major favorite role, Miedema bites Ajax Women
The Ajax Women were able to avert a defeat at Arsenal on Tuesday evening. At Meadow Park, the London team was the obvious favorite, but thanks to a late goal by Romée Leuchter, the team of trainer Suzanne Bakker pulled a draw out of the fire: 2-2. The first Amsterdam goal was also provided by Leuchter. The return in the last qualifying round of the Women’s Champions League will take place on September 28 at De Toekomst.

Wijnaldum makes itself heard for the first time since fate struck
Georginio Wijnaldum has responded to his situation for the first time since he was seriously injured in AS Roma training at the end of August. The 86-time the Dutch international acknowledges in a video on his social media that he has had tough weeks, but that he is now feeling combative.

Dropper Brobbey gets no explanation from Van Gaal: ‘Have I delivered too little?’
Brian Brobbey is disappointed in Louis van Gaal’s decision not to include him in the the Dutch squad. The Ajax striker was added to the pre-selection of the Dutch national team by the national coach and was allowed to hope for a place in the final selection for the upcoming Nations League matches, but in the end he did not survive the selection. “Perhaps Van Gaal thinks I have delivered too little”, Brobbey responds in conversation with the General Newspaper.

UEFA continues boycott and also excludes Russia from European Championship 2024
There is also no place for Russia at the European Championship 2024. The Russian Federation (RFS) announced on official channels on Monday that UEFA has excluded the country from qualifying for the European final round. Russian teams and clubs are currently suspended ‘until further notice’ by UEFA because of the war with Ukraine, already banning the former Soviet Union from participating in the upcoming World Cup. The RFS may still appeal the verdict.
