Sergiño Dest will make his basic debut for Barcelona in LaLiga on Saturday evening against Getafe. The back from Ajax is Ronald Koeman’s answer to Jordi Alba’s injury, as the Dutchman wants to continue to build on his 4-2-3-1 system. Dest already made his debut as a substitute just before the international period: he came in the final phase of the home game with Sevilla (1-1) as a replacement for Alba.

In the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, Koeman chooses Dest on the left side of the defense. The rest of the defense is completed by Sergi Roberto on the right, and Gerard Piqué and Clément Lenglet in the heart of the defense. The latter was still suspended in the duel with Sevilla. Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets are again the controllers, as Miralem Pjanic only completed a training session with Barcelona and has three games with Bosnia-Herzegovina in the legs.

Antoine Griezmann, the seventeen-year-old Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé must provide the attacking impulses and Lionel Messi again plays as false number nine with the necessary freedom. That means that Philippe Coutinho and Ansu Fati start on the bench. Getafe will no doubt stick to the traditional 4-4-2 system; trainer José Bordalas has all his players at his disposal for the clash from 9 p.m. with the Catalans.

Barcelona has turned each of its four last visits to Getafe into winnings and has not lost to the Madrid club for 15 games in a row. Both Barcelona and Getafe have seven points, although the Bordalas team has one more match in its legs.

Barcelona lineup: Neto; Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Lenglet, Dest; Busquets, De Jong; Griezmann, Pedri, Dembélé; Messi.
