Ronald Koeman will be on the line as coach of Barcelona for the first time on Saturday night during the exhibition match against Gimnàstic de Tarragona, and the coach will not call on Luis Suárez during that match. The routine has long been associated with departure and is not part of the match selection.

Suárez informed Koeman that he could leave, although according to reports from RAC1 which came out earlier Saturday was more a choice of the club than of the coach. Nevertheless, the coach has no place for Suárez on Saturday, who apparently has to fill in a large part of the training sessions individually.

The Catalan RAC1 reported earlier on Saturday that Luis Suárez does not necessarily have to leave as far as Ronald Koeman is concerned.Read article

Except for the Uruguayan, there is also no place for Arturo Vidal in the match selection. The Chilean is anything but around with Internazionale regarding a transfer and he is now waiting for the deal to be finalized. Lionel Messi is present: the star player rejoined the training for the first time after completing his transfer soap and is immediately part of the selection.

Koeman also appeals to compatriot Frenkie de Jong and the newcomers Pedri and Trincão. Talents like Arnau Tenas, Iñaki Peña, Konrad de la Fuente, Ilaix Moriba and the returning Juan Miranda are also part of the selection for the match which starts at 18:00 on Saturday. Miralem Pjanic is still missing: the acquisition has just started practicing again after a positive corona test.
