Ronald de Boer is very pleased with the game of Youri Baas, the analyst made clear during the break of the match between Ajax and FK Vojvodina. In front of the camera of Ziggo Sport De Boer compares Baas' game with that of Daley Blind and his twin brother Frank de Boer.

Halfway through the match in the second preliminary round of the Europa League between Ajax and FK Vojvodina, the scoreboard still shows a 0-0 score in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Ajax created several big chances, but failed to score the opening goal. During the break, De Boer points out the best player in his eyes for the Amsterdam team: Baas.

“The only one I really enjoy is Youri Baas,” says De Boer. Baas was posted by coach Francesco Farioli on the left in the centre of defence, next to Josip Sutalo.

“Baas plays really great. He's a kind of Daley Blind. He also plays maybe a bit like my brother. He's not the fastest, but he's super intelligent. His passing is also great. So I really enjoy that,” says De Boer.
