Real Madrid is doing everything it can to control Kylian Mbappé as soon as possible. Fabrizio Romano said this in a video item. According to the transfer market specialist, negotiations on some 'crucial details' are currently underway.

Romano confirms that the 25-year-old attacker announced internally his departure from Paris Saint-Germain last week. There were then rumors that Premier League clubs also wanted to join the battle for Mbappé's signature, but only Real, which has already made him a contract offer, is still in the race.

Marca wrote on Monday that Mbappé has even signed a long-term contract with the Madrid team. However, this is clearly contradicted by Romano. The journalist emphasizes that some important details need to be discussed first.

As soon as Mbappé has signed his contract, he will announce his departure from the French superpower in a statement together with Paris Saint-Germain. One of the details that the attacker still has to negotiate with Real are the portrait rights. According to Romano, Mbappé has 'enormous power' in this area.

The transfer market expert also gives an indication of the salary that the 75-time France international will earn in Madrid. Romano knows that Mbappé can expect a similar salary to Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Júnior. Both of Real's star players currently earn around 400,000 euros per week, which amounts to more than 20 million per year.

Because Real does not have to transfer a transfer fee for Mbappé, the star striker can also look forward to 'a huge signing bonus'. Romano does not yet mention an exact amount, but will provide more details once Mbappé has actually signed his contract with the Madrid team.
