Real Madrid is the most valuable football club in the world, reports Forbes. According to the American magazine, this is partly because the Royal generated the highest income last year with 807.8 million euros. The total value of Real Madrid is estimated at 6.1 billion euros.

Forbeswhich bases the ranking on match days, broadcasts and commercial income, among other things, notes that Real Madrid has won the Champions League no less than five times in the past nine years.

The residents of the capital also have a chance to win again on June 1 the Cup with the Big Ears to conquer. It would mean the fifteenth European Cup I/Champions League for the Spanish superpower.

“Sponsors can count on the team to appear on screen for hundreds of millions of football fanatics during many big matches. That's why Real Madrid earns an average of $205 million (189.7 million euros, ed.) per year for its shirt sponsors, the most in the football according to Football Benchmark“, writing Forbes.

The second most valuable club in the world is Manchester United with a total value of six billion euros. FC Barcelona follows at an appropriate distance in third place, with a value of 5.2 billion euros. The top five is completed by Liverpool (4.9 billion euros) and Manchester City (4.7 billion euros).

What stands out about the list of Forbesis that there is no Dutch club to be found on it. The magazine has included the thirty most valuable clubs in the world in its list.
