NAC Breda had to wait three years, but is still entitled to a transfer fee for Rai Vloet. That was agreed in the summer of 2018 with the Swiss FC Chiasso, which refused to pay. NAC was ruled in the right by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Thursday and must still receive approximately 300,000 euros.

Vloet played for NAC in the 2017/18 season and was then sold to Chiasso. The Swiss club decided to sell the attacking midfielder to the Italian Frosinone within a month and then did not transfer any money to NAC. The people of Breda filed a case with FIFA and were already found to be in the right in April. Chiasso appealed to the CAS, but backed down on Thursday.

NAC still claims the transfer fee, including costs incurred, from Chiasso, the club from the Kitchen Champion Division communicates through the official channels. For Vloet, the adventure with Frosinone, who played in the Serie A at the time, was not a success. The former PSV player had his contract dissolved after six months and then ended up in the next failed adventure at Sint-Truiden. He found his way up through Excelsior and last year he was picked up by Heracles Almelo, where he made a big impression with 17 goals and 7 assists in 35 games.
