Two policemen were injured on Wednesday evening in disturbances between supporters of Sturm Graz and PSV. It Eindhovens Dagblad writes on Thursday that a group of about fifty ‘self-proclaimed hooligans’ walked through the center of Graz on Wednesday and ran towards an Irish pub where dozens of PSV supporters were sitting. Four arrests have been made following disturbances. Three arrested are from the Netherlands, the other from Austria.
According to eyewitnesses, the cafe was barricaded by the Sturm Graz supporters, so that the PSV fans could no longer go outside. A short scuffle followed, after which the Austrians fled. The cafe was vandalized and glass was thrown. According to the reports, surrounding catering establishments were greatly inconvenienced by the scuffle between the football fans.

Kleine Zeitung reports that two police officers were injured in the incident, which took place around 10 p.m. Afterwards there was a lot of police in Graz and the fire brigade boarded up the Irish pub. There have been no major incidents involving football supporters later in the evening. PSV will visit Sturm Graz tonight. The match starts at 6.45 pm and is almost sold out with approximately 15,000 spectators.

PSV started the group stage of the Europa League two weeks ago with a 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad. Sturm Graz came into action against AS Monaco on the same night and went down 1-0.
