PSV is about to strengthen with Dante Sealy, it reports Eindhovens Dagblad. The eighteen-year-old attacker was previously on trial at De Herdgang and is taken over from FC Dallas. The transition is expected to be completed this week.

Sealy is known in the United States as a great talent and has already played eleven times in Major League Soccer for FC Dalles, although those were all short substitutes. The young wing striker, who can handle both flanks, has already been on an internship in Eindhoven several times in recent years. So now he is making the final switch. The intention is that Sealy will initially join Jong PSV.

It is not the first time that PSV is active on the American players’ market. For example, Richard Ledezma broke through under Roger Schmidt last year. Sealy’s compatriot tore his cruciate ligament in December and is still recovering from it. American Chris Gloster also played for PSV in recent years, but that collaboration ended in disappointment. In March, Gloster was sold to New York City FC.

Just before the start of the return in the Champions League against FC Midtjylland (0-1 win), PSV also extended the contracts of two talents on Tuesday. The people of Eindhoven continue longer with Fodé Fofana and Jeremy Antonisse. Fofana will extend his contract until 2025, while Antonisse will be fixed until 2024. Once the final details have been finalized, the signatures will be placed.
