Noni Madueke and Davy Pröpper are not fit enough to travel with PSV to Austria on Wednesday, the club officially announced on Wednesday. Pröpper has a minor injury, while Madueke has not yet fully recovered from the injury he sustained in last Wednesday’s game with Go Ahead Eagles. The two therefore have to miss the Europa League game visiting Sturm Graz on Thursday.

Pröpper was sidelined at the end of August with a muscle injury, as a result of which he had to miss the match in the preliminary round of the Champions League with Benfica and the competition matches with FC Groningen and AZ. The club’s official channels have not released any information about the midfielder’s current injury. Madueke was injured during PSV’s 1-2 win against Go Ahead Eagles. Trainer Roger Schmidt was still speaking to the Eindhovens Dagblad hoped that the attacker’s injury was not that bad. “Hopefully it’s cramp. His own feeling was that it wasn’t.”
