Johan Bakayoko is not interested in a switch to Brentford, reports Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The Premier League club reported to PSV on Thursday evening with an offer of approximately forty million euros including bonuses from the people of Eindhoven, who are prepared to accept the offer. Now it appears that the wing tip is a switch to the Bees does not see itself. Rick Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad adds to the reports that Ibrahim Sangaré, who is in the explicit interest of Nottingham Forest, may also remain in Eindhoven.

It is currently unclear whether Bakayoko will talk to Brentford again to reach a personal agreement. Reaching the group stage of the Champions League may have a major impact on the winger’s desire to stay with PSV. The imminent arrival of Hirving Lozano does not seem to change Bakayoko’s mind for the time being.

The Mexican international is in fact in the starting blocks to succeed Bakayoko. Lozano previously played for Eindhoven, was considered one of the stars of the club and scored no fewer than forty goals. PSV reportedly has fifteen million euros left, including bonuses, for Lozano, who is committed to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona until mid-2024.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reported earlier on Thursday evening that Brentford submitted a bid of 40 million euros including bonuses on Thursday. The people of Eindhoven also managed to negotiate a resale percentage. The final details still had to be finalized, but now it seems that the transfer, despite an agreement between PSV and Brentford, will ricochet.

It is also unclear whether Sangaré will leave the Philips Stadium. PSV has in any case refused Nottingham Forest’s offer of 34 million euros for the midfielder, while he himself has not yet reached an agreement with the Premier League club. According to Elfrink, the Ivorian international still has too many doubts about a transfer.
