Internazionale has officially reported to PSV for Denzel Dumfries, Fabrizio Romano reports. The people of Eindhoven have brushed aside the first offer from Italy worth twelve million euros and want a higher amount, it sounds like. Dumfries must become Achraf Hakimi’s successor in Milan.

Inter inquired at Arsenal about Hector Bellerín earlier this summer, but are now going for Dumfries as Hakimi’s successor. The 22-year-old Moroccan was sold to Paris Saint-Germain for at least sixty million euros, but Inter can only reinvest a small part of the transfer fee due to the major financial problems. Now that Romelu Lukaku is also going to be sold, there is a little more financially possible i Nerazzurri. Lukaku moves to Chelsea for a record sum of 115 million euros.

Romano does not report anything about PSV’s asking price for Dumfries, but Rik Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad has been talking about an amount between fifteen and twenty million euros for some time now. Everton is also interested in the 25-year-old right-wing defender, but according to Romano has not reported in Eindhoven. Technical director Marcel Brands has to join the Toffees sell it before he can get involved in the battle for Dumfries.
