PSV has reached a verbal agreement with Eran Zahavi, according to Israeli media reports. The 33-year-old striker can sign for two years in Eindhoven, claims Sport5. Zahavi, who is still under contract with the Chinese Guangzhou R&F of trainer Giovanni van Bronckhorst, is said to be able to earn one and a half million euros a year at PSV.

Zahavi would like to leave Guangzhou R&F, where he will be stuck until the end of December. It is unknown if the Chinese club will cooperate with an early departure of the rush hour. According to the Israeli One Zahavi has several offers in his pocket and hasn’t decided on his future yet.

Israel’s 54-time international has been linked to several clubs in recent weeks, including Fenerbahçe, Istanbul Basaksehir and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Roger Schmidt, the new trainer of PSV, is according to reports charmed by Zahavi. The German coach, previously trainer at Beijing Sinobo Guoan, knows the striker from their joint time in the Chinese Super League. Zahavi has been under contract with Guangzhou R&F since mid-2016 and was previously active for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Palermo, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ramat haSharon.
