Couhaib Driouech can officially call himself a PSV player. The Eindhoven team confirmed on Sunday that the Haarlem player will join the club. Driouech comes over from Excelsior and signs a contract until mid-2029.

It was only a matter of time before PSV announced Driouech. Earlier on Sunday, Rik Elfrink of the Eindhoven Daily Newspaper a leaked photo of Driouech's presentation.

The PSV guard reported that the presentation would take place on Monday, but PSV managed to present the technician on Sunday. 'Patience is rewarded, welcome, Couhaib!', the club wrote in the caption.

Driouech comes from Excelsior, the club he seemed to leave for the Philips Stadium last winter. At the time, the deal fell through at the very last moment, because Excelsior wanted to keep the chance of staying as high as possible

Now Driouech is coming after all. He reportedly earns Excelsior a basic amount of 3.5 million euros. With bonuses, the amount can increase to four million euros.

Driouech can play on both wings and thus offers trainer Peter Bosz some extra depth. The Eindhoven team already knows that Hirving Lozano will leave the club next winter.

The Mexican was recently presented at San Diego FC and will make the switch to Major League Soccer during the coming winter break.

It ED and Football International reported earlier this week that PSV had also reached an agreement with FC Utrecht on the transfer of Flamingo. The midfielder will earn the Domstedelingen 'almost nine million euros'. His official presentation has yet to come.
