Adama Traoré is at the top of the list of possible new Tottenham Hotspur wingers, Fabrizio Romano reports. The transfer expert states that the Spurs also have a crush on Noni Madueke, but that PSV do not want to sell him this summer. As a result, discussions are now underway with Wolverhampton Wanderers and the entourage of Traoré, which can be brought in for an amount of 47 million euros.

Sky Sports announced last Friday the interest of Tottenham, Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers in Madueke. The English sports channel mentioned an asking price of 35 to 40 million euros from PSV for Madueke, which would be too much for the interested Premier League clubs for the time being. “Following the reports about Madueke in England: there is no asking price,” wrote Rik Elfrink – PSV watcher for the Eindhovens Dagblad – then on Twitter.

“PSV does not want to sell him. And whoever wants to buy it, has to offer so much that that point of view changes. A bid that starts with a three will not suffice,” said Elfrink. Romano also now reports that PSV has no intention of getting rid of Madueke. Despite the fact that Tottenham is charmed by the nineteen-year-old wing attacker – who was taken over by PSV in 2018 from the Spurs and has so far accounted for six goals and an assist in eight official games this season – his name is therefore not at the top of the wish list.

Romano states that Tottenham has a list of three names in the search for a new wing attacker. Traoré is currently at the top and all parties are already in talks. According to Romano and the London Evening Standard soon result in a bid from Tottenham, as that would already be prepared. The Daily Telegraph writes that Wolverhampton Wanderers can look forward to an offer of 47 million euros, a lot more than the according to Sky Sports PSV asking price too high for Madueke.

Nuno Espírito Santo, Tottenham’s manager since this summer, and Traoré have worked together at Wolverhampton Wanderers for the past three years. The Wolves took the 25-year-old wing attacker – six-time Spanish international – from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018 for twenty million euros. Traoré, who previously also wore the shirt of Aston Villa and Barcelona, was good for 10 goals and 13 assists on behalf of Wolverhampton Wanderers in 133 games and has a contract until mid-2023. Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to sell Traoré this summer.
