There are hooks and eyes to a possible return of Davy Pröpper to PSV. Brighton & Hove Albion requires at least ten million euros for the midfielder, an amount according to technical director John de Jong Football International does not want to comply for the time being. What could be beneficial for PSV is Pröpper’s wish to return to the Eredivisie. He also played for the Eindhoven club between 2015 and 2017.

Pröpper cannot count on a fixed place in midfield at Brighton. Manager Graham Potter dropped him in just eleven games of last season the Seagulls show up. The contract of the 29-year-old midfielder in England will continue for more than two years, which means that PSV will have to come up with a transfer fee anyway. In addition to Pröpper, De Jong’s list of reinforcements also includes the name of Marco van Ginkel, whose contract with Chelsea expires on June 30.

Van Ginkel himself recently indicated that Chelsea sees no point in continuing the cooperation, which gives PSV the opportunity to definitively capture the midfielder. He was leased to PSV a total of four times by the London club in recent years. Football International reports that PSV wants to come up with white smoke before June 25, when the preparation for the new season starts, as far as Van Ginkel is concerned.

The PSV leadership, on the other hand, expects a summer departure from Donyell Malen and Denzel Dumfries. With Malen, the necessary goals will be scored, so De Jong looks for alternatives. The Telegraph recently linked Luuk de Jong to a return to PSV and according to Football International the striker of Seville is even a ‘dream candidate’. A departure of the attacker is taken into account in various Spanish media. PSV does depend on the price tag that Sevilla hangs around De Jong’s neck.

Steven Berghuis can be collected from Feyenoord for only four million euros due to a special clause. De Jong already spoke to the wing attacker and his agent Guido Albers on behalf of PSV. Mark van Bommel would like to take Berghuis to VfL Wolfsburg, but the player in question does not want to make a decision about his future before and during the European Championship. PSV does not focus blindly on Berghuis and has various alternatives in the picture, it sounds. Three players have already been brought to Eindhoven with Joël Drommel, André Ramalho and Phillipp Mwene.
