The marriage between PSV and Bruma seems to have reached the final phase. The wing attacker was missing from the match selection for the exhibition game with PAOK Saloniki (1-0) on Wednesday evening and according to Football International is that because of his impending transfer to Besiktas. The talks between Bruma and the Turkish top club have reached an advanced stage, it sounds like. In addition, PSV wants to rule out any risk with a view to a possible injury.
PSV has not yet received an official offer from Besiktas for Bruma. The Eindhoven club nevertheless assumes that the 26-year-old winger from Portugal will leave the Philips Stadium in the short term. The Besiktas leadership has the intention to definitively take over the attacker from PSV, as has now been made clear to agent Catio Baldé. It Eindhovens Dagblad already reported on Monday that PSV hopes to retain at least five million euros from the interim sale of Bruma, which was taken over from RB Leipzig in 2019 for twelve million euros.

The transfer from Bruma to Besiktas has been in the air for some time.
Bruma could never really live up to the high expectations at PSV. He did not go further than 21 league matches and scored only three times. He was temporarily based at Olympiacos last season, where he scored 9 goals and 3 assists in 33 games in all competitions. The Greek champions had included an option to buy worth seven million euros in the lease, which was not lifted. The Greeks hoped to achieve a lower transfer fee, partly because Bruma earns an annual salary of two million euros
Bruma now seems to be ready for a return to Turkey, where he previously played for Galatasaray, opponent of PSV in the second qualifying round of the Champions League, and Gaziantepspor a few years ago. Adana Demirspor, the brand new club of Younès Belhanda, Mario Balotelli and Jonas Svensson, was recently linked to the PSV attacker. It remains to be seen whether a definitive agreement can be reached with Besiktas about the transfer of Bruma.
