PSV’s home shirt for the 2021/22 season is known after a unveiling of Footy Headlines. With the new outfit, the Eindhoven team harks back to the 1995/96 season, when Ronaldo, among others, shone in a jersey with similar patterns. The new PSV shirt therefore has much thinner white lines than usual in recent years.

This makes PSV’s new home shirt mainly red in color, just like it was in 1995/96. A difference with the shirt from then is that the white lines now also extend above the shirt sponsor. PSV has also switched clothing sponsor in the meantime: from 1995 to 2015, Nike supplied the uniforms for the North Brabant team, while Puma has been the shirt supplier from last year. Main sponsor Philips has since changed into Brainport Eindhoven, a collaboration between various companies from the region.

PSV will play the away games in the 2021/22 season in a shirt with dark purple and turquoise influences, the Eredivisionist officially announced two weeks ago. The away kit, like the leaked home shirt, is inspired by a design from the 1990s. On the front of the shirt a subtle reference has been made to the flag of Eindhoven, which contains horizontal and vertical stripes. The away shirt is here to watch
