PSV has found a new back sponsor with GoodHabitz, they report Eindhovens Dagblad and Football International. An agreement for three seasons has been concluded with the internationally operating company – a provider of online training courses. The deal with GoodHabitz provides PSV with an amount of 3.5 million euros.

The name of GoodHabitz also adorned the shirt of PSV two years ago, but since then the place on the back has been given to Energiedirect.nl. The energy company will therefore be replaced by GoodHabitz from next season, which must be associated with PSV for three years as a so-called back sponsor. “It is a real Eindhoven company that has strong ambitions, is growing fast and is successful,” it says Eindhovens Dagblad from the mouth of Frans Janssen, commercial director of PSV.

“We are a good match and we both strive for continuity, whereby we now enter into an agreement for three years”, says Janssen, who says that Energiedirect.nl will be linked to PSV in a certain way. The energy company initially took over the main sponsorship from Philips and therefore adorned the PSV shirt for a total of six years, initially on the front and from 2019 on the back.

“We want to continue our international expansion in the coming years and, for example, take important steps in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico”, Maarten Franken explains the new deal with PSV on behalf of GoodHabitz. “We have already noticed that PSV’s brand awareness abroad is sometimes enormous and opens doors for a sponsor. This is still underestimated. PSV is not only a name in the Netherlands that evokes something for many, but is also recognized by many foreign football or sports fans.”
