PSV played a closed exhibition game the day after the resounding victory in the Champions League over Galatasaray (5-1). At training complex De Herdgang, fellow townsman FC Eindhoven was the opponent on Thursday morning. Trainer Roger Schmidt gave the players who were in the starting lineup on Wednesday evening a rest and started with a reserve team, which ultimately proved too strong 2-0.

On the side of PSV, Davy Pröpper and Ryan Thomas, among others, came into action. The two played a half, after they had to settle for a substitute against Galatasaray. The goals were scored by Bruma and Cody Gakpo. The latter also had no base place against the Turkish top club, as he later joined the selection in connection with the European championship. There was also a substitute for Michal Sadílek and Jeremy Antonisse, among others, got playing minutes. Yvon Mvogo was still missing.

It Eindhovens Dagblad writes that a transfer from Bruma to Besiktas did not get off the ground. The attacker seemed to be on his way to Turkey, but both parties cannot meet the wish list of Bruma’s agent. The wing attacker was missing last Wednesday in the match selection for the exhibition game with PAOK Saloniki (1-0) and according to Football International it was because of his impending transfer. Whether it will come that far remains to be seen in the coming days.
