The news that Diant Ramaj may end up on the bench at Ajax has also reached abroad. Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who is part of Gianluca Di Marzio's reporting team at the Italian branch of Sky Sportreports on Tuesday on X that clubs from LaLiga and the Premier League are monitoring the situation surrounding Ramaj.

Bendoni writes that several, unnamed clubs from Spain are considering a rental deal for the Ajax goalkeeper. Chelsea is said to have already inquired in Amsterdam about the possibilities of a summer transfer for the goalkeeper who is still contracted to Ajax for four years.

It is not yet clear whether Chelsea is seriously considering making a first bid for Ramaj. It is clear that the London club wants to strengthen its goalkeeping guild. Andriy Lunin (Real Madrid) is an option, although the goalkeeper costs 30 million euros. The Blues try to lower this asking price by offering Kepa Arrizabalaga as a bargaining chip.

Chelsea are looking at several options in addition to Ramaj on the summer transfer market. Manager Enzo Maresca wants to increase competition for first-choice goalkeeper Robert Sánchez and according to Fabrizio Romano, Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen is one of them.

The list of Maresca, who took over from Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea, also includes the name of Mads Hermansen. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been under contract with Leicester City, Maresca's former employer, since last year.

Ramay

Remko Pasveer seems to have an advantage over Diant Ramaj as Ajax's first keeper under Francesco Farioli, reports Football International Tuesday. As a result, an outgoing transfer of the 22-year-old goalkeeper from Germany would no longer be out of the question, according to journalist Tim van Duijn.

According to Van Duijn, Ramaj is in danger of ending up on the bench at Ajax again. “The fact that it was not Ramaj, but Pasveer who was in goal for Farioli's 'A-team' last Saturday, was a signal that the Italian's preference seems to be for the latter keeper.”

The journalist mentions a 'new blow' for Ramaj, whose situation seems to be changing. “Until recently, Ramaj was not for sale, but because of his threatening reserve role, a sale before August 31 is suddenly no longer out of the question. That would also give Ajax extra financial resources to do more on the transfer market,” says Van Duijn.
